All things will come with a little time when you believe Week 50

Hello hello!!!

I hope you all had an amazing week!!! I sure did!!! 

Starting off strong we did some crazy weekly planning!! We had so many friends and we knew none of them ... but eventually made it through and called everyone! We had some really fun lessons then we had to teach our English class!! We now teach English class live every Tuesday and Friday!!! Which is sooo fun and then we had a lesson with our new member Fermin!! He is soooo Cool!!! 

Wednesday I got to lead out the area on exchanges with Hermana Turpin!! We saw so many amazing miracles and talked to some really cool people! We got to meet one of our families that we are teaching, the Diaz family, they are just the cutest. it's a little hard for their lessons because the parents prefer Mixteco, they still speak Spanish but the kids prefer English and speak a little Spanish so the lesson was just everywhere!! But sooo good 

Thursday!  Lowkey sooo good. We had the opportunity to pass by our friend Berta and we found out her husband is a member!!!  She is soo sweet as well, the rest of the day was full of miracles and we met so many cool people!! 

Friday I'm not really too sure what happened... but we had a lesson with a returning member and her daughter!!! She saw us at the park and asked for a Book of Mormon and told us it was time for us to come back!!! #ilovecarla!!!! 

Saturday I was out of the area with Sister Webb on exchanges!!! In YSA land, I have a very strong love-hate relationship with it. It was so fun but contacting someone my age was kinda weird! 

Sunday! We basically hung out at the church all day. And then walked like 5 miles to walk our friends home....  but the Hermana’s had a baptism and it was soo fun to watch:)  

I just want to share the fact that God has a perfect plan! And because he loves us he wants to help us in all things, but we have to do our part and allow him to work through us and follow his spirit!! 

I love you all so much and I hope that you all trust in His spirit and allow him to guide you to a better life!!!!

Goodbye may seem forever ... but in my heart is a memory Week 49

 Heyyyyy 

This week was soooo funnnn!! We had transfers! I got transferred out of Santa Paula buttttt I'm in the happiest place on earth.... Santa Maria!! 

What a blessing to be here, all of my companions have been here and I'm so happy to finally see it for myself!!! 

The last few days in Santa Paula we met soooo many cuties and I'm so excited for them!! We had a really amazing opportunity to pass by a friend we haven't taught in a while. It was unplanned and led by the spirit and she was sooo happy to see us and we had an amazing lesson, we really hope to see her more at church! 

Wednesday was a little chaotic and a little sad. We had a lesson with Emily and Lucero I don't think I've ever cried harder, I love them so much and I can't wait to see them again!!! (Because I left the area) But then we got ice cream with some of the coolest people ever!!

Thursday was transfer day so I spent the entire day packing and then making the trek up to Santa Maria! Somehow we fit 5 missionaries in a truck with all the luggage... we made some pit stops... I got to see Hermana Leary again!!! And then we made it to our apartment at like 9pm.... It was a crazy day!!! 

Friday was my first full day with Hermana Vanderbilt!!!!! I love her!!!!! 

We whitewashed up here (we are both new in the area) so we are just trying to figure everything out!!! 

Saturday was just continuing figuring it out and then we had some really cool lessons! We had a lesson with our new bestie Teo! He was a Facebook referral!!!  

Literally he has red hair and freckles and is just the cutest but he doesn’t speak a lick of english!!!  

Sunday was the best. We had Stake Conference so we got to hear from soooo many amazing speakers, and I got to sit next to our new member Fermin.  He got baptized last week!!!! He is soooooo cool. He was making little comments to me the whole time and then we sang “Andare Con Cristo" and his voice was soooo good, he was sooo happy to sing!!! 

Somehow Sunday night we got roped into going to an English member meal and drove 30 minutes up the mountain to this absolute mansion!!!!  And then we ate the most amazing food before quickly coming back to the church building for our mixteco service at 5!!!

Spiritual Thought 

"Because “the gospel of Christ … is the power of God unto salvation,” you can be confident, courageous, and humble as you share it. Confidence, courage, and humility may seem like contradictory attributes, but they are not. They reflect the Savior’s invitation not to hide gospel values and principles under a bushel but to let your light shine, that your good works may glorify your Father in Heaven." 

We are all missionaries sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, name tag or not we have a part to play! And as we have the confidence to share the blessings and experiences we have, have the courage to invite everyone and be humble enough to get out of the way and let the Lord do his work though us... that is how we can be true disciples and missionaries!! 

Do your part and invite those to receive the Fullness of the blessings from the restored church of Jesus Christ

"so we're breaking free" Week 48

 Hellooooo

This week was soooo special, full of miracles, and absolutely crazy!!!! 

Tuesday 

We got some yummy pizza at Tuscany Pizza!!! Super super yummy! And then we said goodbye to our super cutie Amiga Elida! We gathered some shoes and gave them to her. She is headed back to México this week!! Keep her in your prayers that she will get back in contact with us! 

Wednesday!!!!!! 

I was soooo blessed and got invited to join Hermana Olaveson at MLC!!! What an amazing day we were learning ways to better help the missionaries and the work of the Lord!!! 

Truly the Lord is hastening his work!!! 

Then we got back and went and had dinner with our cutie friends Lucero and Emily and had some super yummy spicy food!!!! 

Then we went on a run through mainstreet... chasing our friend's dog... which ended up being such a Miracle and we found some cuties through those experiences!!! 

Thursday 

It went by pretty quick. We had lots of stop bys and a cute little lesson with Mauricio and Ana!! Please keep them also in your prayers. He is working for baptism but he had a really tough surgery and is trying to heal!! 

Friday!!!  

I was on exchanges in Ventura with Hermana Searle!! We partied it up soo good and saw so many miracles!! 

We felt prompted to knock on this house and we met 3 of the cutest people I think I have ever met!! They were pretty closed off but as we shared a scripture their hearts changed!

They invited us in and introduced us to Leonor Una Abuelita. She is 94 years old !!! Wow, they shared their food and it was so amazing!! Such a wonderful experience!! And we got yummy food!! 

And we met so many more people that day! I can't share them all but a smile makes all the difference!!! 

Saturday!!! 

11 months!!! 

Can you believe that I hit 11 months.... I can't.

But we got ice cream and partied it up! We invited so many people to church!! 

Then we had a little birthday party at the ward so we got some yummy food!!! 

Sunday!!!! 

Literally such a blessed day! We got to help 6 of our friends come and partake of the sacrament and invite the spirit into their lives!!!!  The rest of the day was kinda blurr!!!! 

Spiritual message!

I want to share just a little miracle about those cuties I met on Friday! That truly the Book of Mormon can change lives if we allow it to! As we shared a scripture you could see the spirit touch their hearts and they invited us in to share more of that spirit!! 

If you are not using the Book of Mormon daily! Do it! There's nothing better than inviting the spirit into our lives daily through the power of the Word of God!! 

If you ever need anything, reach out!! 

Don't forget to look for the miracles!

I got to sell more papers :) 🎶 Week 47

 Helloooo!!! 

This week went by so crazy fast!! 

Tuesday 

We had interviews and it was soooo amazing. We talked with our zone for like an hour about the Book of Mormon! It was soooo amazing!!!! Then we had a really amazing lesson with our friend Mauricio! He said he was finally ready for baptism and we offered a date to him! He is so excited to continue to grow!!!

Wednesday!!!!

We had the most amazing experience cleaning the Los Angeles Temple!! We spent a few hours just cleaning and it was sooo fun, so peaceful and the spirit was so strong!! We left super early in the morning and got back around 3pm and then had a really amazing lesson with our new member Lucero and our cute friend Emily!! 

Thursday! 

We got to go to Hermana Castros and we ate so many homemade tortillas, we even got to take some home for dinner!!! 

Then we had the best lesson in the world with Audelio! He read the Book of Mormon  and he was so excited to tell us everything that he learned!!! We had a very distracted English class! We learned so much but were very off topic!

Friday !!

I got to go on exchanges, well I stayed here in Santa Paula with Sister Spitzenberg! She is just the cutest in the entire world! We saw soooo many miracles and we just partied it up all day and met so many cuties! 

Saturday! 

So much happened and I'm not even sure what happened! We called so many people to invite them to church and we talked to so many cool people! We had a really cool lesson with our new friend Jacinto! He's soooooo cool! He showed up in fancy boots and a cowboy hat!

Sunday 

We had a few really cute friends at church and our new member was so excited to pay her tithing!!! SOOO CUTE! We had a linger longer and so we got to eat really yummy pozole!!

Spiritual Thought  

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessings of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not a primary way of worshipping." 

How would you say your worship is going? 

The lord is hastening his work and he wants you on the field, he wants you to be on the winning team!!  

Do what the lord is asking!!  

The prophets and apostles testifying daily of the Lord's second coming! Be prepared now!! 

I promise that it is worth it!!!
