Whoaaaaa we're half way there Week 39

 Hello family and friends!!!

To make up for the lack of information in the email last week this email should have a little bit more exciting stuff!!

Tuesday!! We got our weekly planning done... our cute member was still in Mexico so we couldn't go get homemade tortillas but this week we will go over!!  Then we had some cute little visits! Then we talked about our English class live on facebook... if you are not following our mission pages you really should be!!!

Wednesday! I have no clue what happened on Wednesday. I know that we had a few crazy lessons and one really really long lesson!!! Then we got to go to Fillmore and had a little family home evening. We talked about angels and shared some cute thoughts and memories and it was so precious!!

Thursday! We stopped by to help this cutie! She was stealing pool water to clean off her patio and so we helped her clean off all the telas de araΓ±a and our dresses got soaked but it was fun. We talked to her for a while! She is a cutie!!! Then we had a lesson with our friend Juan Miguel (literally my favorite person in the world) , then we taught our English class and we had so many cool friends and new friends come!!

Friday! Zone Conference! Which was so amazing and very uplifting! Then we had a very long lesson in the park with Ocario!!

Saturday! We had so many miracles and truly God is so good!! He puts people in our lives that we really need and it is so needed! We also got our mission president's wife to come join our English class!!

Sunday! It was such a crazy day!! We had 7 amazing friends come to church, 7!!! They all showed up at least 15 minutes late ... but they showed up and it was so precious! Then we got to take a drive to Ojai to have a lesson with our amazing new friend Jordan. She is preparing for baptism and she is so adorable!

Spiritual thoughts

Truly I just wanted to say that God's timing is perfect. Saturday we stopped by a new member referral for the 3rd time and they told us the girl we were looking for wasn't there, it was lowkey kinda frustrating because we knew how important it was and then as we were walking away already frustrated, when Rosie (the new member who referred us) came running around the corner.  Then we had the best first lesson ever!! They came to church also!

It's sometimes hard to trust God's timing and to just submit to his will but truly it is worth it. It is not worth it to stress over and to worry about because things will work out the way they need to be!

It has been the most uplifting 9 months of my entire life, there have been hard times and sometimes I just don't think I can do it.  But here I am and I'm so so happy to be here! I can testify that you are where you need to be exactly where you need to be!! God loves you and he is proud of you. Trust in him and I promise things will happen at the times they are needed!!

Love you all so so much 🀍🀟🫢

catch y'all next week *finger guns* πŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰

I really thought I was out and they were blue washing... but im so so excited to be here!  (Blue washing is when they move out the Sisters and put Elders in their place.)

Thursday was kinda just crazy. We packed and partied it up for the last day together!!

Friday, the first full day with Hermana Lanning! We met some really cool people and partied it up with some lessons!!

Then Saturday we met with some members and had some cutie lessons!!  And invited so many friends to church!

3 Nephi 9:13-14

13 O all ye that are spared because ye were more righteous than they, will ye not now return unto me, and repent of your sins, and be converted, that I may heal you?

14 Yea, verily I say unto you, if ye will come unto me ye shall have eternal life. Behold, mine arm of mercy is extended towards you, and whosoever will come, him will I receive; and blessed are those who come unto me

Come unto me and have eternal life! Come unto Christ and be saved, receive his glory and his joy!

Remember me, though I have to say goodbye Week 36

 Helloooo

This week was really good! It is the last full week of the transfer! We have transfers this week! We know that Hermana Leary is leaving and there might be a chance that I leave too... but I'm hoping I stay for one more transfer!

But because we knew Hermana Leary is leaving this week we said goodbye to a lot of our best buddies, which was really sad! Some of them felt like little breakups!

But anyways. . .

Tuesday we did our normal things! did our weekly planning and munched at Hermana Castros and then Tuesday night we met up with a friend and he gave us a big old buttload of lemons! Then we did our facebook live and taught so many cool friends english!

Also if you have any good recipes to use up lemons let me know!!

Wednesday-  I have no clue what happened but as we were knocking some doors we went to knock on this door and they had a Jesus card (These are the little card missionaries leave when they are out knocking) and it was discolored lol we left the card hopefully someone will come across it!!

Thursday - we had 8 amazing amigos come to English class! It was actually such a fun class!

Friday- we baked some brownies for one of our members and had the best member meal ever, we just yapped for a while!

Saturday we passed out popsicles to random people (some people were a little sketched out) but it was really fun and we met a lot of really cool people!! Then we had English class and it was honestly a little sad. We said goodbye to a lot of our best friends, one of them being Juan- Miguel, he is literally one of my favorite besties! As he was leaving we gave him a popsicle and he asked if we could all take a picture for the memories!!

Sunday was literally soooo good!! church started and we had no friends, no new members, nobody, me and Hermana Leary were beat, but then all the sudden our friend calls and tells us he is gonna be late but he is coming, and then Vicky, are adorable new member shows up with her two daughters, and then right behind her is the one and only Juan-Miguel. He doesn't like to come to our church, but he is easily bribed (with treats and us sending annoying reminder texts) so it was okay! Then we had Rafael Morphin come in 30 minutes late (we kinda thought he had been ghosting us because he hasn't answered us in weeks) but he showed up so we are so proud of him! The rest of the day we did our studies in Las Piedras, and we watched a very intense game of soccer! Then we talked to Fernando, who was lowkey laughing at us for all the random comments we were making during the soccer game!

Then there is our lovely friend Francisco who just really loves telling us how much he needs a wife!

Overall it was just a fun week, lots of ups and downs!

let him be your shadow, let him be your guide!! and as you allow him to guide you he will use you to build up zion and be alight to others!!

I can go the distance Week 35

Hola! familia y amigos!!

We had a really amazing lesson with Hermana Rivas! Such a cutie and we are going back this week so I'm super excited to talk with her again! She is sooo cool!

Then I spent the day in English land and had some pretty fun member meals. I feel bad for English missionaries. I ate spaghetti meatballs and garlic bread twice in one day, everyone said that was normal! I'll stick with my tacos and burritos!

Friday we had interviews and spent the majority of the day in Ventura and got to talk a lot about how we can find joy in the standards we have as a mission!

Saturday we had one person come to our English class and he was 20 minutes late!

Sunday was crazy. There was this big old party going on in Santa Paula for the Santa Nino de Atocha!  And then we listened to a catholic mass that was held in the park, as we did our language study!!

We love the Guadalupe church here in Santa Paula and we love it even more to watch them party!
