I got to sell more papers :) 🎶 Week 47

 Helloooo!!! 

This week went by so crazy fast!! 

Tuesday 

We had interviews and it was soooo amazing. We talked with our zone for like an hour about the Book of Mormon! It was soooo amazing!!!! Then we had a really amazing lesson with our friend Mauricio! He said he was finally ready for baptism and we offered a date to him! He is so excited to continue to grow!!!

Wednesday!!!!

We had the most amazing experience cleaning the Los Angeles Temple!! We spent a few hours just cleaning and it was sooo fun, so peaceful and the spirit was so strong!! We left super early in the morning and got back around 3pm and then had a really amazing lesson with our new member Lucero and our cute friend Emily!! 

Thursday! 

We got to go to Hermana Castros and we ate so many homemade tortillas, we even got to take some home for dinner!!! 

Then we had the best lesson in the world with Audelio! He read the Book of Mormon  and he was so excited to tell us everything that he learned!!! We had a very distracted English class! We learned so much but were very off topic!

Friday !!

I got to go on exchanges, well I stayed here in Santa Paula with Sister Spitzenberg! She is just the cutest in the entire world! We saw soooo many miracles and we just partied it up all day and met so many cuties! 

Saturday! 

So much happened and I'm not even sure what happened! We called so many people to invite them to church and we talked to so many cool people! We had a really cool lesson with our new friend Jacinto! He's soooooo cool! He showed up in fancy boots and a cowboy hat!

Sunday 

We had a few really cute friends at church and our new member was so excited to pay her tithing!!! SOOO CUTE! We had a linger longer and so we got to eat really yummy pozole!!

Spiritual Thought  

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessings of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not a primary way of worshipping." 

How would you say your worship is going? 

The lord is hastening his work and he wants you on the field, he wants you to be on the winning team!!  

Do what the lord is asking!!  

The prophets and apostles testifying daily of the Lord's second coming! Be prepared now!! 

I promise that it is worth it!!!

Helloooo!!! This week was just amazing!!!

We will do a quick run through so I can share all the miracles! 🫶

Tuesday-

We got to go to Hermana Castros and eat so many yummy tortillas!!!! Then we had a really good lesson, an amazing lesson with our friend Audelio. He is so cool and has the desire to read in the Book of Mormon that is so cool! (the Book of Mormon is so good and we got to testify of it so much this week) 

We had another really amazing lesson with Sebastion, and talked about baptism!! We got to do the English class live and teach English to so many really cool people!! 

Wednesday- 

There were literally so many miracles, I can't even write them all down! I got over my fear of talking to people my age because I talked to this group of YSA guys... terrifying . . . 10/10 would recommend this because sharing the gospel is so good.  It was all so scary because I don't know how to talk in English anymore... 

We got free pizza!!!! super yummy! and we had a really good lesson with Lucero. She is just the coolest new member and she has so much confidence! 

Then we got to go have dinner with the Juarez family! We munched so hard it was so yummy and I just love their family so much! After we had some lessons cancelled, but we had a really strong prompting to stop by a member's place and it was the best decision ever. She has been having a really hard time!! Such a crazy day full of miracles!! 

Thursday - 

We had some really cool lessons before our English class!!!  We went over to Mauricio and Anas!! They are the cuties, Mauricio is recovering from a surgery and he got a blessing from the elders and I've never heard anybody have such a  strong testimony of a blessing. It was so cool!!  And then we had the most spiritual lesson with María Elena before English class!! Sooo fun

Friday- 

I spent the day in Ventura!! Sooo fun, we saw so many miracles and talked to so many really cool people!!  And a cool member brought us yummy Chilean empanadas !!! 

Saturday- 

oh my goodness this day was crazy! We had a really chill day up until like 5 o'clock we had like crazy lessons and some really crazy miracles, I got to use my sign language again and we had some crazy member experiences, we ended up walking a very cute old lady home in a very dark and scary area!!

Sunday- 

We had Stake conference!! 

So we partied it up in Ventura and had our interviews with President Rodriguez!!!!

Spiritual message!

I don't know if I have shared this before but I just love this video!! And I love the temple!!

Just imagine how much work the Lord puts into making one of his beautiful houses! Now imagine what he does for you!! 

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 

Your body is a temple!! Every detail matters! And God is in every single one of them!!! Don't forget to take care of your body, spiritually, physically and mentally !!! 

It's also just an excuse to bring up the temple hehe if you haven't gone to the temple recently!! GO!!!

There's no mountain too great, Hear the words and have faith Week 45

Hello!!!!! 

This week was just full adventures to be honestly the last week felt like the longest and fastest week of my life 

But starting off strong Tuesday we got to go to Ventura for a lesson with our cute friend Carmen! She was a Facebook referral which means she came knocking on our door and she is sooo cool!! Then we got to go eat yummy tortillas with Hermana Castro!!! Then we had some amazing lessons with some of our really cool friends then we got to teach English class!! 

Wednesday!! We drove to Santa Barbara!!!! ZONE CONFERENCE  such an amazing day!! And I saw all of my favorite besties!!! And we got to eat yummy tacos!!! 

We did have to drive a minute and that wasn't the best but it was so worth it we were waving at everyone while stuck in traffic, hopefully it brought some joy ! When we finally got to Santa Paula we ran to Lucero and Emily's house for dinner, they made us the best tamales I think I have ever had!!  I don't remember what else we did that day but we were pretty tired after that!! 

Thursday I had exchanges with Sister Workman  We went on some exchanges when I was in Camarillo so it was super fun to go again with her! We stayed in Santa Paula and it was honestly a crazy day. We had like 8 back to back lessons... Sister Workman doesn't speak Spanish so I was just basically talking all day... but it was so fun and we got icecream   

Friday!!! Uhhh Friday we just kinda mentally recovered from the past 2 days, we also spent quite some time finishing planning  Lucero's baptism!! 

Saturday!!! 

LUCERO GOT BAPTIZED 

It was such an amazing day we had an amazing lesson with our friend Audelio who I found on exchanges. He read some of the Book of Mormon and had so many amazing questions... and he almost made us late for our baptism!! 

But don't worry we made it and we only started 15 minutes late.... it wasn't our fault we were waiting for members!! 

Super special day! I had most of all my favorite members there because a lot of members from Camarillo had come to support lucero!! Such a special day  

Sunday 

We had church and we had some cutie friends come to church! We got to talk to some cute members! Then we just finished up all the usual stuff as a missionary and had a mission zoom to end the week!!

I don't know if you've heard of this book before....

This book is just about the best book on the planet!! It is another testament of Jesus Christ!!! I had so many opportunities this week to testify about it and to share the love that we can receive by reading and abiding by its concepts!! 

This book is a book of joy and happiness! It testifies of the Atonement of Jesus Christ! The plan of salvation! And the Gospel of Jesus Christ! 

Moroni 10: 3-5 

I will add my testimony to this promise that if you read the Book of Mormon and ponder in your heart the message that it contains, and ask God, in the name of Jesus Christ if the book is true, you will gain a testimony of its truth and divinity through the power of the Holy Ghost! I want to invite you to read daily, even just one verse! I promise you it will change you!!
