Everybody wants to be a cat Week 52

 Hello helloo!! 

Okay I don't have a ton of time to write an email but this week was so fun! 

Also I hit my 1 YEAR mark today!!!

Crazy! I can't believe I've been out a full year…

Anyways! Tuesday we had interviews which are just so amazing! We are so lucky to receive personal guidance and support!! 

Wednesday we had to get an oil change and spent so much time at this McDonalds! We talked to so many cool people

Thursday we had exchanges!!! I got to go into YSA land with Sister Ward, we had so much fun, I went boothing for the first time! Super fun, we talked to so many YSA kids! Then we had a lesson with the coolest kid Phillip! I have been in 2 of his lessons and he is super cool!! 

Friday we had so many really cool lessons!!! And Friday I had a quick exchange and went to the cutest lesson with our friend Vianney, her 2 sons were baptised recently and we are trying to help them!! 

Saturday we spent a lot of the day driving and doing stop bys!!! We got to go to alot of members!!

Sunday we got to work and got so many cool friends at church!!! It was such a wonderful day and I got to share my testimony at church!!! Juan Miguel surprised us and came to church, it was good to see him again.

Spiritual message 

"When the Savior knows you truly want to reach up to Him—when He can feel that the greatest desire of your heart is to draw His power into your life—you will be led by the Holy Ghost to know exactly what you should do." 

I want to extend an invitation!! to listen to General Conference and listen to the Spirit tell you about what you need to hear and do.

He will speak to you personally if you truly reach out to him!!!

Heigh-ho, heigh-ho It's off to work we go Week 51

Helloo!!!!

This week just zoomed past!  

Here are some highlights!!!

Thursday we got Pizza Hut and planned out our week!  Then we met some really cool friends and had some cool lessons!!!

Wednesday was Zone Conference! I got to see all my cuties I’ve missed!!!  

I love zone conference days!!!

After zone conference we had some fun lessons and we met this cute family.  La Familia Diaz and they are so precious.  We are working on getting the mom to come to church. . . we will figure it out!

Thursday we had exchanges so I was in a trio with Sister Malm and Sister Farnsworth!!!  We partied it up!

Friday we just filled our schedule with lessons and went to work.

Saturday we invited everyone to church and met some really interesting people!! Pray for our amigos that are headed back to México this week🫡

Sunday we had sooo many friends come to church! And we got to eat some food with the single adult ward!!!

This week I have been studying a lot about Forgiveness!!

What an amazing gift God has given us! Through the hard times, the hard experiences we cannot fail to forgive others!!

“Ye ought to forgive one another,” and then makes it requisite when He says, “I the Lord, will forgive whom I will forgive, but of you it is required to forgive all men.”

Hello hello!!!

I hope you all had an amazing week!!! I sure did!!! 

Starting off strong we did some crazy weekly planning!! We had so many friends and we knew none of them ... but eventually made it through and called everyone! We had some really fun lessons then we had to teach our English class!! We now teach English class live every Tuesday and Friday!!! Which is sooo fun and then we had a lesson with our new member Fermin!! He is soooo Cool!!! 

Wednesday I got to lead out the area on exchanges with Hermana Turpin!! We saw so many amazing miracles and talked to some really cool people! We got to meet one of our families that we are teaching, the Diaz family, they are just the cutest. it's a little hard for their lessons because the parents prefer Mixteco, they still speak Spanish but the kids prefer English and speak a little Spanish so the lesson was just everywhere!! But sooo good 

Thursday!  Lowkey sooo good. We had the opportunity to pass by our friend Berta and we found out her husband is a member!!!  She is soo sweet as well, the rest of the day was full of miracles and we met so many cool people!! 

Friday I'm not really too sure what happened... but we had a lesson with a returning member and her daughter!!! She saw us at the park and asked for a Book of Mormon and told us it was time for us to come back!!! #ilovecarla!!!! 

Saturday I was out of the area with Sister Webb on exchanges!!! In YSA land, I have a very strong love-hate relationship with it. It was so fun but contacting someone my age was kinda weird! 

Sunday! We basically hung out at the church all day. And then walked like 5 miles to walk our friends home....  but the Hermana’s had a baptism and it was soo fun to watch:)  

I just want to share the fact that God has a perfect plan! And because he loves us he wants to help us in all things, but we have to do our part and allow him to work through us and follow his spirit!! 

I love you all so much and I hope that you all trust in His spirit and allow him to guide you to a better life!!!!

Goodbye may seem forever ... but in my heart is a memory Week 49

 Heyyyyy 

This week was soooo funnnn!! We had transfers! I got transferred out of Santa Paula buttttt I'm in the happiest place on earth.... Santa Maria!! 

What a blessing to be here, all of my companions have been here and I'm so happy to finally see it for myself!!! 

The last few days in Santa Paula we met soooo many cuties and I'm so excited for them!! We had a really amazing opportunity to pass by a friend we haven't taught in a while. It was unplanned and led by the spirit and she was sooo happy to see us and we had an amazing lesson, we really hope to see her more at church! 

Wednesday was a little chaotic and a little sad. We had a lesson with Emily and Lucero I don't think I've ever cried harder, I love them so much and I can't wait to see them again!!! (Because I left the area) But then we got ice cream with some of the coolest people ever!!

Thursday was transfer day so I spent the entire day packing and then making the trek up to Santa Maria! Somehow we fit 5 missionaries in a truck with all the luggage... we made some pit stops... I got to see Hermana Leary again!!! And then we made it to our apartment at like 9pm.... It was a crazy day!!! 

Friday was my first full day with Hermana Vanderbilt!!!!! I love her!!!!! 

We whitewashed up here (we are both new in the area) so we are just trying to figure everything out!!! 

Saturday was just continuing figuring it out and then we had some really cool lessons! We had a lesson with our new bestie Teo! He was a Facebook referral!!!  

Literally he has red hair and freckles and is just the cutest but he doesn’t speak a lick of english!!!  

Sunday was the best. We had Stake Conference so we got to hear from soooo many amazing speakers, and I got to sit next to our new member Fermin.  He got baptized last week!!!! He is soooooo cool. He was making little comments to me the whole time and then we sang “Andare Con Cristo" and his voice was soooo good, he was sooo happy to sing!!! 

Somehow Sunday night we got roped into going to an English member meal and drove 30 minutes up the mountain to this absolute mansion!!!!  And then we ate the most amazing food before quickly coming back to the church building for our mixteco service at 5!!!

Spiritual Thought 

"Because “the gospel of Christ … is the power of God unto salvation,” you can be confident, courageous, and humble as you share it. Confidence, courage, and humility may seem like contradictory attributes, but they are not. They reflect the Savior’s invitation not to hide gospel values and principles under a bushel but to let your light shine, that your good works may glorify your Father in Heaven." 

We are all missionaries sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, name tag or not we have a part to play! And as we have the confidence to share the blessings and experiences we have, have the courage to invite everyone and be humble enough to get out of the way and let the Lord do his work though us... that is how we can be true disciples and missionaries!! 

Do your part and invite those to receive the Fullness of the blessings from the restored church of Jesus Christ
