Spiritual Thought!!

"Christ’s charity—evident in complete loyalty to divine will—persisted and continues to persist, not just through the easy and comfortable days but especially through the darkest and most difficult ones."

I promise you that God loves you! No matter how dark your day is, he knows you! He loves you, he is watching out for you and he will help you up when you fall!!  And because of our Savior Jesus Christ you can be healed and saved. There is no darkness that can not be lightened by Christ's charity!

If you are in this darkensss reach out for him, find his light, he is there!!!

I love you all sooo much!

Keep being amazing!!!

I also finally caved and started a photo album!!

Happy holy week!!!!

I want to extend the invitation given by Elder D. Todd Christofferson in his April 2023 conference talk "One in Christ”

"Today is Palm Sunday, the start of Holy Week, marking the Lord’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem, His suffering in Gethsemane and death on the cross just days later, and His glorious Resurrection on Easter Sunday. Let us resolve never to forget what Christ endured to redeem us. And let us never lose the overwhelming joy we will feel once again on Easter as we contemplate His victory over the grave and the gift of universal resurrection."

Let us remember this week he who gave us all! Let us resolve to NEVER forget what Christ endured for each and every one of us individually! and let us Never lose the overwhelming joy we will feel once again on Easter as we remember him!

I can promise that no matter where you are spiritually, mentally, or physically, the one thing that can bring you that Overwhelming JOY is Jesus Christ!!!

Remember him and allow yourself to receive that greater love that he has for you and to feel his overwhelming joy!

have a great holy week

Love you all so so much πŸ€πŸ€ŸπŸ«Ά

The boys are back again, together making history. . . Week 27

 Hola!!

Thank you all for reading my emails ☺️

This week was kinda crazy and a lot happened but at the same time, I don't remember what happened!

Tuesday we had interviews that are always so fun! but took up most of our day! After we had some lessons and planned out our week, nothing super super exciting!

Wednesday we went to Oxnard and picked up another missionary for the day. Then we went to one of our members house and did some service. We helped her clean her house and then she gave us some quesadillas!

Thursday!!

WE FINALLY GOT TO GO TO THE TEMPLE!!!

I have been waiting for this day for so long and it was so worth it! We got to drive to LA, and back and that was rough but the temple was so worth it!

Hermana Leary and I got to go to the temple together again! It was so amazing to think back just a few months we were working together in Mexico!!

Friday was the only day this week where we just had to do a ton of missionary work, so we went and had a ton of lessons and tried to find some amazing people!

Saturday & Sunday we had a general conference which was so amazing!! I can't wait for the talks to be out to read again! I got to have one of my friends watch the General Conference for the first time!!! He was so happy and amazed by the dedication the church members have. I felt so blessed to be able to help him to this point !!

highlights

- Interviews!!

- so much driving all week!!

- Rafaels!! (they always just make me so happy)

- A really cool "cruise night"  in Santa Paula and saw a bunch of really cool cars!!

- temples!!!!!

Spiritual thought!

This weekend Hermana Leary and were putting up some flyers for our English class when we stopped at a grocery store and saw a cute older woman about to get cases of water. We quickly ran to her side to help her and before she could even say yes we were helping her, it felt so natural to me but she told us that she was very grateful and that there are not many people like us in the world anymore. This thought had stuck in my head throughout conference. In the talk, Steve D. Shumway talked about the right, the privilege, and the responsibility to represent the Lord! I am so grateful to be a disciple of Jesus Christ, and to stand out! I'm grateful for the privilege and responsibility I have to serve others and to take the Savior's name upon me and make him proud.

I want to invite you all, to take upon you the name of our Savior. To take upon you this responsibility, and to make him proud. When this lady at the store told me there are not a lot of people like us in the world it made me sad, because I know that as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, we can make this difference. We are the people others should look to as an example and for help.

3 Nephi 12:

"14 Verily, verily, I say unto you, I give unto you to be the light of these people. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

15 Behold, do men light a candle and put it under a bushel? Nay, but on a candlestick, and it giveth light to all that are in the house;

16 Therefore let your light so shine before these people, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven. "

I know that we all have a beautiful bright light!! go let it shine!!!!

Love you all so so much 🀍🀟🫢

Spiritual Thought:)

"It is one thing to be loved and another thing entirely to be trusted

I know that the Lord loves us! I know that we are given responsibility here on earth, and each responsibility can be personal! And I know that the Lord has trusted us with our friends and our family! He trusts us with power, and with opportunities to change and grow, and to help others!!

I pray that all of God's children can feel of his love but more importantly that everyone can earn the trust that the Lord has for us, to work to get to know him and to know the responsibility he had for each and everyone of us
